It lets you enjoy the flavors of rich chocolate and strawberries.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"168\" data-end=\"304\">Our moist, fine-textured chocolate sponge has cacao worked into the batter. We value its melt-in-the-mouth quality and lightness when freshly baked, and we finish it carefully so that it does not become too heavy even when layered. On this sponge, we layer juicy Japanese-grown strawberries and gently sweet fresh cream made with kibi sugar (Japanese cane sugar).<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"435\">We use kibi sugar in the fresh cream to keep its sweetness modest. This brings out the sweet-tart flavor of the strawberries and the aroma of the chocolate and balances the cake as a whole.
