What kind of sweet is a sablé diamant?
True to its name, which means “diamond” in French, this is a sablé coated with sugar that sparkles around the outside. For the sugar coating, we use vanilla sugar that we make by hand in our shop from vanilla bean pods.
It keeps for about 3 weeks. Please store it in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity. It is also included in our baked goods gift boxes.
For details, please see the Sablé Diamant product page.
A diamant cookie is a type of sablé coated all around with sparkling sugar. “Diamant” is the French word for diamond. The name does not mean that the cookie is shaped like a gem; it focuses on the sparkle of the sugar grains on the outside.
